Who We Are


Camp Fairview is a Christian camp located near Athens, TN that is owned and operated by Fairview Baptist Church. Since 1974 God has been using us in shaping the lives of Christian young people.


What We Do


The theme of Camp Fairview comes from Mark 6:31: "And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest awhile: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat."



Our mission is to give the local church a place to come apart and rest awhile. At Camp Fairview, we have beautiful buildings, beautiful land, wonderful food, and it's all yours to rent! For a week of teen/junior camp or a simple weekend retreat, you can rent our property and run your own events! We have been blessed with a desert place, and the goal of Camp Fairview is to see Christians from all over this country come and take a time of rest.

About Camp  Fairview

Camp Fairview is a 150-acre Christian camp located in the beautiful hills of East Tennessee near Athens. Several scheduled camps are offered during the summer season and the camp is made available to church groups throughout the year.

Camp Fairview started as a ministry of Fairview Baptist Church in 1974. Since then, the camp has operated with the purpose of seeing souls won to Christ and Christians brought closer to Him. Over the years, thousands of campers from our area have had the unique privilege of attending a Christian camp, and through that, the opportunity to respond to gospel preaching.
